The Zhytomyr Community Foundation organized a “Winter’s Tale” holiday for children from IDP families and residents.
Girls and boys painted gypsum snowflakes with brushes and paints, danced to music, and got to know unusual guests from the “Compliment” theater studio of puppets and marionettes. They recited rhymes and sang songs in advance, for which Santa Claus and his friend Bunny rewarded them with gifts.
For some children, it was the first such holiday. Therefore, they watched everything with interest, and then actively joined in the fun.
Children and adults found their hometowns on the map of Ukraine, to which they still cannot return, made cherished wishes, took pictures near the Christmas tree, and treated themselves to sweets. We wished each other peaceful, bright holidays and that the New Year was victorious!
The holiday took place within the framework of the “Integration Program for Internally Displaced Persons of Zhytomyr Oblast” Project, implemented by the Zhytomyr Community Foundation with the support of the Global Fund for Community Foundations.
